Despite the difficult conditions – the presentations had to be done virtually – Barbara Strobl and Simon Etter mastered their PhD defenses on the 18 March with flying colours. Fantastic presentations, real enthusiasm for their project and of course the award of the PhD title made the day unforgettable for all of us!
